What Bishop Oyedepo wants as a birthday gift

What Bishop Oyedepo want as birthday gifts

The presiding Bishop of the Winners Chapel International had on Sunday stated that he doesn’t want any physical item, both perishable or non-perishable, as his birthday gift. The Bishop, who is set to celebrate his 70th birthday on the 27th of September, has told his members that he doesn’t eat cakes, and also he doesn’t read birthday cards.

This came after a team went to ask him what he actually wanted for his birthday gift as he marked his 70th birthday. The Bishop on Sunday said he doesn’t need any of the gifts they plan to give him. He highlighted that if you give him birthday cards he doesn’t read them because he hardly has time for such activities as he’s so engrossed with ministry work.

The Bishop, who is currently writing about 5 books to be published before the birthday, told members that if they want to get him any birthday gift, it should be a kingdom-focused birthday gift, not physical items that he will not value. He stated that there’s nothing you would want to give him that he already doesn’t have.

Shocking to note is that at 70 the Bishop is still working so hard to be at the front line of ministry. The Bishop, who had been confirmed severally to be working 18 hours a day, still does a little below that today. He currently preaches in the Sunday Service 1st and 2nd services while the son who is the resident pastor of Faith Tabernacle, Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr, preaches in the third service.

Meanwhile, the largest single-roof auditorium, which is being constructed by the giant of faith Bishop Oyedepo, called the ARK, is also currently in progress without financial stress or strain from anyone. The ARK is expected to be completed and dedicated on November 29th, 2025 as declared by the Bishop.

This can only be God working wonders amid his people. The Bishop, who has also trained men who are doing very well in ministry, obliged his congregation to be part of his birthday celebrations by bringing one soul to church this coming Sunday. The Bishop said if you love him and would want to give him a birthday gift, bring one soul to church this coming Sunday.

The Bishop’s passion for the soul is unmatchable, as that is the only thing he said he would be happy about. As stated clearly in a video, the Bishop said the only birthday gift he wants from members who have thought about him is to bring one soul to church on Sunday and if you want to win his heart for life, bring a soul in every Sunday for September.

Amazingly, prophets are sent in every generation, identify yours and follow them hardly. You’ll always get blessed by them if you don’t doubt in your heart. Men have been made by Bishop Oyedepo no doubt. Men like Dr Stephen Akintayo, who’s not ashamed to call Bishop Oyedepo his spiritual father, and a host of others.

The Bishop has trained men like Bishop David Ibeyeomie of Salvation Ministry, with headquarters in Port Harcourt, and Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International, with headquarters in Abuja.

Mentioning these men could take another five to 10 blog posts. In the future, we will write about them. For now, let’s take a bow and focus on the Father of Faith’s birthday celebration.
